Next Time, a Mimosa IN the Studio

Friday night, I went pottery painting with some of my girlie friends. It was the Arts & Crafts Club event for March. What a totally fun and relaxed evening with lots of laughter! I highly recommend Mimosa Studios - Friday Night Party Night (where you can bring your own food & drink), and NEXT TIME - Margarita Night (last Friday of the month)!!

Afterwards, we walked down the street to Petite Provence where you drool just looking inside the door at the bakery display. Oh yum yum yum....

There's Snow Morning Like This Morning!

What a great little snow day we have today!

A Tall Gene?

My mommy sense has been speaking to me lately about Evan. I've suspected he's had a growth spurt, and have been wanting to measure him.

So this morning, I finally did.

He's 4 feet 3 inches tall! (well, just a HAIR under 51"). He's grown 2 inches since the last time we measured him, which I THINK was in July.

I can't believe that he has less than a foot to go before he's taller than me. And he's only 6 and a half! Where in the world did he get his height?!?!?

My valentine to my family!

I decorated my dining area with balloons & streamers, made a mini 3-tier cake, got chocolates for the boys, champagne "plastics" for me & Ry, and a card for Mom. I made Kung Pao chicken, brown rice and broccoli. It was a very nice and unconventional celebration!

Our brief encounter with snow this morning. This was the first time Jaren has been old enough to REALLY be intrigued and excited by it. Too bad it was so wet!

Laura watched Jaren for the last time on Wednesday. He is SO attached to those Zieman girls!!
