Monday Morning

I will dress my boys up as "twins" for as long as I can!!

Evan doesn't want to "pose" this morning... :)

Such a patient big brother, getting his face squeezed!

Valentine's Day Breakfast

This was Ryan's idea....

The breakfast we surprised Evan with, complete with strawberry milk! :)

Oooh, I'm On a Roll!

Dare I do ANOTHER blog post on the same day?

We did a very impromptu beach trip a couple of days ago, and it totally hit the spot our little mundane weekend needed! The boys were A+ travelers (as always), we had a peaceful and delicious lunch at Dooger's, and we all played in the sand.

And how random is this?? On the exact same stretch of beach come walking my cousins Karla and Debbie with their girls Cayla and Haley!! Talk about family rhythm!

It was a beautiful day, and nice to rediscover our spontaneity.

I'm Only A Couple Months Late!

No, not what you think.....

I meant - I'm only a couple of months late posting our Disneyland pics!

We surprised Evan and took him to Disneyland from Dec. 27th through Dec. 30th. We bought 3-day passes, and it was the PERFECT amount of time. The last day we spent shopping Downtown Disney. :)

He was SUCH an angelic little trooper!! Having our undivided attention must have done him really well, because he was such a joy to be around (not always true these days). His favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (Disneyland) and Grizzly River Run (California Adventure).

Jaren stayed home and Grandma, Grandpa and G-ma Barbara took turns watching him. Next time, Jaren - we promise!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Tonight we hosted Christmas Eve at our house. For a different "twist" on dinner, Ryan and I thought it would be fun to have a big BREAKFAST. Apparently, Maria was a bit more disturbed by this than we thought. She wanted a "traditional" meal. Sorry Mer! :( Anyway, we made a delicious breakfast casserole (sausage, eggs, hash browns, cheese, crescent roll dough, red pepper, onions) and Mom made macadamia nut pancakes. Mmmmm..... And to drink? A "Mi-llini" or "Bell-osa" - my last-minute mix of OJ, Limoncello and champagne. YUM!!!!
Ryan and Melanie :)

Shauna and Mariah with our "Bell-osa"s...

Was it loud, crazy and messy? Heck, yeah!! That's what Christmas Eve is all about when you have little ones, right? Jaren was happy as a clam sitting in a big pile of wrapping paper and bows. And Evan loved everything he got - and was a polite little man, thanking everyone for his gifts. :)

Maria & Derrick (aww, aren't they cute?)

Mom and me

Chante

Oh - and we told Evan HALF of the "surprise". We are going on a vacation. Evan immediately blurts, "Where?!?" The other half of that surprise will be revealed on the morning of the 27th, in the airport, heading to DISNEYLAND!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, 2009!!

Too Busy?

I can't believe how much I've neglected this blog lately! How terrible of me!
Can it be that I've been too busy WITH my boys to blog ABOUT my boys? No, I'm not going to make that excuse. Here's to a more organized 2010.

My BABY is ONE!!
November 22nd

Evan's new LOVE - Lego's. This is his early Christmas gift from Auntie Rame. Spongebob and the Krusty Krab set. He HAD to put it together the same night she gave it to him. Thanks Auntie!! :)

Merry Christmas 2009!

And this I took earlier this week. Evan is tickling Jaren.... My little loves!
