Look What I Did!

I joined a Crafter's Book Club, and this time I got a bunch of sewing/craft books. One in particular is called "One Yard Wonders", and it has a ton of projects that require just one yard of fabric. I LOVED the idea of the "Petite Diaper Tote", so I made my own! Just big enough for a couple of diapers, wipes, and a sippy cup/snack. I improvised a little, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. :)

First Park Day of 2010!

This morning we met a bunch of friends at Pacific Park. The weather was partly sunny, a tad windy, but very pleasant overall. I'm sure we'll be spending a LOT of time at various parks this coming summer!

Kindergarten Musical "Informance"

Today was Evan's Kindergarten Musical "Informance". It was held in the music room at BBC (usually concerts are held in the gym and in the evening, but because Kindergarteners tend to get shy, they shelter them this year).

It was SO cute!! Not one kid acted up, cried, or anything! Evan was so excited to see Jaren and Mommy sitting there when he walked in and to the top level of the risers. :)

The kids did about half a dozen little numbers, ranging from hand rhymes, singing, dancing and xylophone playing. Ms. Velasquez is a very positive and effective teacher - we loved it, Evan!!

"The Piano Men"

These are terrible pictures, but I just had to post this.
Evan has become my "shower babysitter" in that he's in charge of watching over Jaren while I take a shower. Jaren LOVES playing on his brother's bed, so Evan set Jaren and himself up with some great entertainment the other morning.

They are both in their zone. (And please excuse the underwear shots Evan, but this is your favorite and ONLY item of clothing you will wear these days!)
